Giving clothing a second life
In Europe, large amounts of second-hand clothing are collected, much of it still in good condition but not reused locally. We select quality garments with our partners in the Netherlands and send them to Senegal, where they are prepared into clothing bales and sold at affordable prices, giving clothing a second life, creating local jobs, and improving access to quality clothing.
Textile reuse
In Europe, people buy and replace clothing very quickly. As a result, large amounts of second-hand clothing are collected every year. Much of this clothing is still in good condition, but there is more supply than local demand, meaning not all garments can be reused within Europe.
We work with trusted partners in the Netherlands to carefully select quality clothing that is clean, wearable and suitable for a second life.
These selected garments are sent to Senegal, where they are sorted and prepared into clothing bales by local teams. The clothing is then sold at affordable prices, making quality garments accessible while reducing textile waste, giving clothing a second life, and creating local jobs, especially for women.

Creating jobs
In Senegal, these garments are carefully sorted, graded and prepared into women’s clothing bales by local teams. This process is done with attention and respect for both the product and the people involved.
By organising sorting and preparation locally, we create meaningful employment, particularly for women, and contribute to skills development and stable income opportunities. At the same time, we reduce textile waste and extend the life cycle of clothing through responsible reuse.

Partners

We work with trusted partners who supply carefully selected second-hand clothing. Only garments that meet our quality standards are accepted, ensuring suitability for reuse.
Through close collaboration, we maintain consistent quality, transparency and responsible sourcing, helping extend the life of clothing across the value chain.
